AI edit puts Ravi Kishan in Friends scene, fans call him GOAT
An AI-generated video placing actor-politician Ravi Kishan in a scene from the American sitcom Friends has gone viral on social media. The edit uses a clip from a Friends episode where characters argue about finances, inserting Kishan into the scene as Joey Tribbiani asks him whether he would choose 'paisa' or 'pehchaan'.
Kishan's response, taken from his interview with podcaster Raj Shamani, plays in the video: 'Pehchaan. Money follows my brother! Money will run after you and will find you.' The realistic nature of the edit has amused netizens, with many commenting that Kishan is 'everywhere' and calling him the 'GOAT'.
Hindustan Times reports that Kishan, in a recent interview, credited Gen Z for accepting him through memes and said it is happening organically. Times of India notes that the actor will next appear in 'Mirzapur: The Movie', 'Khosla Ka Ghosla 2', and Kartik Aaryan's 'Naagzilla'.
Indian Opinion Analysis
Both sources present this as a lighthearted viral entertainment story with no political or ideological angle. Hindustan Times gives more space to Kishan's own comments about his meme fame, including his mention of the BJP handle making memes, while Times of India focuses more on the AI edit's technical seamlessness and his upcoming projects. Neither outlet treats the story as controversial or newsworthy beyond its entertainment value. The coverage is uniform straight reporting on a viral trend, with no competing frames to adjudicate.
