Indian Opinion is an independent, privately operated project. It is not owned by, funded by, or affiliated with any news organisation, political party, government body, or commercial media group.

How it is funded

The site is self-funded by its operator. Its running costs are hosting, domain registration and the cost of the AI models used to generate summaries.

We do not currently run advertising, sponsored content, affiliate links or paid placement. If that changes, this page will be updated before it launches, and any paid content will be labelled as such.

What that means for coverage

No outlet, company, party or individual can pay to appear on this site, to be covered in a particular way, or to be left out. Story selection is automated and driven by what Indian outlets publish — see our Editorial Policy.

Relationship to the outlets we summarise

We have no commercial relationship with the outlets whose reporting we aggregate. We use their publicly available feeds, credit them by name, and link back to their original articles. They do not pay us and we do not pay them.
