Alia Bhatt-Produced Rom-Com Don’t Be Shy Gets September 25 Release

Prime Video has announced September 25, 2026 as the global premiere date for Don't Be Shy, a young-adult romantic comedy produced by Alia Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt under Eternal Sunshine Productions. The film is written and directed by Sreeti Mukerji and stars newcomers Aarushi Bajaj, Ansh Duggal, Bianca Arora and Piyush Khati in lead roles, with Kunaal Roy Kapur, Anurag Basu, Neha Dhupia and Anju Alva Naik in supporting roles. The story follows young adults navigating friendship, love, heartbreak and ambitions.

The film will stream exclusively on Prime Video in Hindi with English subtitles across India and more than 240 countries. Ram Sampath is composing the music. Alia and Shaheen Bhatt said in a joint statement that the film captures something honest about being young and praised the cast's energy and vulnerability. Prime Video's Nikhil Madhok described the film as a celebration of friendship and growing up.
