Banka job camp on 3 November: 9 posts, Rs 8,000 to 15,000 salary
The Story in Brief
Bankas district planning office will hold a one-day employment camp on 3 November from 11 am to 3 pm at the Joint Labour Building, ITI Campus, Telia, Banka. Srikrishna Fuel Mart will select nine candidates across four posts.
The openings include six nozzle man positions (10th and 12th pass, Rs 9,000 a month), one guard (10th pass, Rs 8,000 to 9,000), one driver (10th pass with a valid licence, Rs 10,000 to 12,000) and one accountant (graduate with Tally, DCA and MS Office, Rs 12,000-15,000). The age limit for all posts is 25 to 35 years.
Candidates must bring their biodata, academic mark sheets, Aadhaar card and a colour photograph. No fee is charged for the camp.
Indian Opinion Analysis
The camp fills only nine vacancies across four roles in a single mart, far below the number of applicants who typically attend such events in Banka. The salary range of Rs 8,000 to Rs 15,000 a month is below the minimum wage for skilled and graduate labour in Bihar, which means many candidates may weigh the cost of travel against the pay on offer. The district planning office has not disclosed how many applicants it expects or whether a waitlist will be drawn up. The camp runs for just four hours on a single day, which will test how quickly the one-day hiring process can assess and shortlist candidates.
