Bihar police special branch constable final result declared
The Central Selection Board (CSBC) has released the final result for Bihar Police’s Special Branch constable recruitment. A total of 83 candidates have been selected, comprising 52 men and 31 women.
Selected candidates must appear for document verification, which is scheduled from 25 October to 20 November. The verification process is the next stage of the recruitment and will determine final appointments. Candidates have been advised to check their names and category-wise cut-offs on the official CSBC website.
Indian Opinion Analysis
The 83 successful candidates, 52 men and 31 women, now face a two-stage joining process. Document verification, the next hurdle, opens on 25 October and closes on 20 November, a tight window for all selected candidates to appear across their allocated slots. The outcome of this verification, not the merit list itself, will determine who actually joins the Special Branch. Candidates who do not clear it will not be appointed, and their seat will revert. The Central Selection Board has not specified how many wait-listed candidates, if any, will be called if selected candidates fail the verification. Until the verification ends on 20 November, the final strength of the batch remains open.
