BMTC launches 10 express buses on Magadi corridor, fare capped at Rs 55

BMTC has started 10 Vegadootha limited-stop express buses on route EX-240MD, connecting Magadi Road toll gate and Magadi town with 62 daily trips at a 25-minute frequency. The service bypasses minor halts to reduce travel time, stopping only at Kamakshipalya, Summanahalli, Sunkadakatte, Gollarahatti, Honaganahatti, Tavarekere, Varadenahalli Handpost and Hospet Circle.

The new express service complements the existing 313 scheduled buses on the Magadi corridor, introduced due to high demand from outlying areas. Commuters can travel the entire stretch for a capped fare of Rs 55, inclusive of GST and toll charges.
