BSEB announces November pre-board dates for Class 10 and 12
The Story in Brief
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the pre-board examination schedule for students appearing in the 2027 intermediate and matric annual exams. Intermediate pre-board written exams will be held from 19 to 28 November 2026. Matric pre-board written exams will run from 23 to 27 November 2026.
The board has also announced dates for practical exams. Intermediate practicals will take place from 30 November to 2 December 2026. Matric practicals will be held on 28 November 2026. The pre-board exams are mandatory for students before they appear in the final board examinations.
Indian Opinion Analysis
BSEB has set the pre-board window for over ten lakh students across matric and intermediate streams. The gap between written and practical exams is tight, particularly for matric students, whose practicals begin the day after the last written paper. Schools now have less than three weeks to conduct internal assessments and lodge marks before the practicals. The schedule also makes plain the final exam timeline: with pre-boards completing by early December, the annual board papers likely start in the regular February window, though the board has not yet announced those dates.
