CA Inter September 2026 results declared, Rittika Goswami tops Meerut
The Story in Brief
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) announced the CA Intermediate September 2026 examination results on Thursday, 22 October. In Meerut district, Rittika Goswami secured the top rank with 454 marks, followed by Gautam Shakya with 421 marks in second place and Soumya Rastogi with 397 marks in third place.
Of the 358 students who appeared for the exam from Meerut, 98 qualified. Nationally, Neel Rajesh Shah and Sakshi jointly secured the top rank. Successful candidates celebrated after the results were declared.
Indian Opinion Analysis
The ICAI results reveal a pass rate of roughly 27% among Meerut candidates, indicating the exam's continued difficulty. The district produced a local topper with a strong score, but the numbers also show that the majority of aspirants did not clear the intermediate stage. Attention now shifts to the next exam cycle, for which ICAI will announce dates and registration details in the coming weeks.
