CBSE releases Class 12 special exam schedule for West Asian students
CBSE has released the Class 12 Special Examinations 2026 date sheet for students in West Asia whose March and April papers were cancelled due to the West Asia crisis. The exams will be held from 23 October to 28 October 2026, with one examination centre in each country.
Admit cards will be available for download from 12 October 2026. Students must use the same login credentials they used when submitting their details to the board. The subject-wise schedule covers five dates: 23 October (Political Science, Economics, Mathematics and Applied Mathematics), 24 October (Psychology, Business Studies), 26 October (Biology, Information Technology, Marketing, Multimedia and Artificial Intelligence), 27 October (Home Science, Informatics Practices, Computer Science) and 28 October (English Core).
CBSE had asked affected candidates to submit their details for the pending examinations. Based on the information received, the board designated one centre per country. Students should download their admit cards once available and prepare according to the published timetable.
Indian Opinion Analysis
The special exams serve students stranded by the West Asia crisis, but with only one centre per country, some candidates may face long travel. CBSE has not said whether more centres will be added if demand is high. The board will release admit cards on 12 October, and exams run 23 to 28 October.
