CGBSE to declare Class 10, 12 results soon, 8 lakh candidates wait
The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) is expected to declare the Class 10 and Class 12 board exam results soon. Around 8 lakh candidates appear for these exams each year. Students can check their results on the official website cgbse.nic.in, as well as on results.cg.nic.in and cg.results.nic.in.
This year, Class 10 exams ran from 21 February to 13 March and Class 12 exams from 20 February to 18 March, both in single shifts from 9 am to 12.15 pm. In 2024, results were announced on 9 May, with Class 10 pass percentage at 75.61% and Class 12 at 50.74%. Candidates are advised to keep a hard copy of their result once declared.
Indian Opinion Analysis
The announcement timing matters for the roughly 8 lakh students who have been waiting since March. Last year, the board held a press conference to release results alongside pass percentages, division-wise data and toppers' names, and in 2024 results came on 9 May. With no date yet given, the wait continues, and students should monitor the official CGBSE website for the release. The practical exams for self-study candidates were conducted at examination centres, and the board had said these could also be held on holidays if needed, which could affect the result schedule. The next step is the board's official announcement of the result date, which will trigger the checking process on the designated websites.
