Chhattisgarh NEET UG Round 4 registration opens
The Directorate of Medical Education, Chhattisgarh, has started registration for Round 4 (stray vacancy round) of NEET UG counselling 2026. Candidates can apply for MBBS and BDS seats through cgdme.admissions.nic.in. Registration and choice-filling are open on 17 and 18 October 2026, with the deadline at 5 PM on 18 October.
The seat matrix for Round 4 has been published online, listing available vacancies. Candidates must lock their college and course preferences before the deadline. The seat allotment result will be prepared based on the submitted choices.
Indian Opinion Analysis
This stray vacancy round is the last chance for MBBS and BDS aspirants in Chhattisgarh to secure a seat through NEET UG counselling. With only a two-day window, candidates risk losing eligibility if they miss the 5 PM deadline on 18 October. The DME will prepare the allotment list solely from locked choices, leaving no room for post-deadline changes. The outcome hinges on how many candidates complete registration and locking before the portal closes.
