Cosmic Samson teaser drops, Sandeep Pradeep stars as superhero

Cosmic Samson, starring Sandeep Pradeep and directed by Abhijith Joseph, released its first teaser on August 23. The 1-minute 24-second clip shows Samson sitting on a rooftop listening to 'Ekaantha Chandrike' when his father, played by Mukesh, calls him home. He jumps off the building, landing with a loud thud beside a damaged car, muttering he is "screwed." Cinema Express reports the teaser establishes the film as a superhero origin story, placing it alongside Minnal Murali. Onmanorama says the teaser hints at superpowers but does not confirm whether the film is fantasy or superhero.

Helmed by Abhijith Joseph, the film is written by Joseph and Abhikersh Vasanth. The cast includes Miya George, Anuraj OB, Alphonse Puthren, and Althaf Salim. Hollywood stunt director Vlad Rimburg, who worked on Minnal Murali, choreographed action sequences. Produced by Sophia Paul under Weekend Blockbusters and Manuel Cruz Darwin of D Group, Cosmic Samson is scheduled for an October release in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi. Onmanorama notes it is Weekend Blockbusters' 10th production.
