Hero MotoCorp appoints Srihari Mulgund as chief strategy officer

Hero MotoCorp has appointed Srihari Mulgund as Chief Strategy Officer, effective immediately. The company announced the move in a regulatory filing on Monday, classifying Mulgund as senior management under stock exchange listing rules.

Mulgund brings over 24 years of experience in the global automotive sector, having worked in the US, Japan, China, and India. He was most recently a Partner at EY-Parthenon, where he led strategic work on EVs, batteries, and new-age mobility. He has also held roles at Aisin AW, FEV Inc, and served as President of Ricardo Strategic Consulting, India.

Hero MotoCorp said Mulgund's expertise will shape its forward-looking strategic initiatives, including its "House of Strategy" plan. He holds a B.E. from National Institute of Engineering, Mysore, an MS from the University of Toledo, and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
