Hyderabad to host three major shooting competitions from August 18

The Telangana Rifle Association will host three major shooting competitions from August 18 to 21 at the OCTOPUS Shooting Range in Ibrahimpatnam, Hyderabad, Deccan Chronicle reports. The events are the Second Telangana Big Bore Shooting Competition, the Deccan Elite Open Big Bore Grand Prix and the Second Super Big Bore Open Shooting Competition.

Amit Sanghi, senior vice-president of the National Rifle Association of India and president of the Telangana Rifle Association, said the competitions offer athletes a platform to test preparation, build confidence and compete in events requiring discipline, technical skill and mental strength. Athletes, coaches and shooting fraternity members from across the country are expected to participate.
