IIT JAM 2027 registration to begin on September 5

IIT Kharagpur, the organising institute for JAM 2027, has launched the official website and announced the examination schedule. Registration will open on September 5, 2026, according to Times Now and Free Press Journal.

The information brochure will be released on August 22, 2026. The computer-based test will be held on February 14, 2027 across around 100 cities. Candidates can apply for one or two test papers. The application fee is Rs 1,000 for one paper and Rs 1,350 for two papers for female, SC, ST and PwD candidates. For all others, it is Rs 2,000 for one paper and Rs 2,700 for two papers.

Candidates who have completed their undergraduate degree or are appearing for their final examination in 2027 are eligible. There is no age restriction. The last date to apply is October 12, 2026. Results will be announced on March 18, 2027.
