India win Champions Trophy by four runs

India beat New Zealand by four runs in a tense final to lift the Champions Trophy in Dubai. Chasing 252, New Zealand fell short at 248 for eight as India's bowlers held their nerve in the final overs. The win gave India their third Champions Trophy title, equalling Australia's record.

Captain Rohit Sharma scored 76 and Virat Kohli added 54 to help India reach 251 for seven. New Zealand's Daryl Mitchell fought back with 95, but Kuldeep Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah took two wickets each to restrict them. The tournament was India's first ICC title since the 2013 Champions Trophy.
