MCC opens choice locking for NEET UG counselling 2026 round 1

The Medical Counselling Committee has opened the choice locking facility for Round 1 of MCC NEET UG Counselling 2026 from August 17, 2026. Candidates must lock their filled choices by 6 pm on the same day through the official website mcc.nic.in. The choice filling process also ends at 6 pm on August 17.

Seat allotment will be conducted on August 18, and results will be announced on August 19. Candidates allotted seats can report to their institutes from August 20 to August 25. Institutes will verify data of joined candidates on August 26.

The counselling covers 15% all-India quota, deemed universities, central universities including Delhi University, AMU, BHU, ESIC, AFMC, AIIMS, JIPMER, and others. Candidates are advised to check the official MCC website for further details.
