Nandini milk set to cost Rs 8 more per litre from 1 November
The Story in Brief
Karnataka's Nandini milk will become costlier from 1 November, with prices rising by Rs 8 per litre. The increase applies across the state's popular dairy brand, which is marketed by the Karnataka Milk Federation.

Indian Opinion Analysis
The 8-rupee-per-litre hike will add about Rs 120 to a 15-litre monthly household bill, a meaningful pinch in a state where Nandini is the kitchen staple. Karnataka Milk Federation, which markets Nandini, is yet to cite a reason, so the burden lands squarely on consumers without any explanation. The increase takes effect from Sunday, 1 November, giving families two days before the new price kicks in.
