Nayanthara compares Hi sets to Yaaradi Nee Mohini family vibe

Nayanthara, who stars opposite Kavin in the upcoming film Hi, said the film's sets felt like a family, an experience she last had during Yaaradi Nee Mohini (2008). In a promotional interview, she credited the presence of late filmmaker Bhagyaraj and veteran actors Prabhu and Radikaa for the warm atmosphere.

"Radikaa mam is unfiltered. She is open and upfront about everything. She tells stories from her 80s and 90s film experiences. The set enters 'Jolly mode' when Radikaa ma'am steps inside," Nayanthara said. She added that Bhagyaraj and Prabhu felt like uncles, and the cast would sit and talk endlessly.

Written and directed by Vishnu Edavan, Hi is described as a fun-filled romantic comedy. It marks the first collaboration between Nayanthara and Kavin, with Nayanthara playing a character named after herself. The film is set to release on August 28.
