North Western Railway cancels apprentice recruitment, issues revised notice
The Story in Brief
The Railway Recruitment Cell of North Western Railway, Jaipur, has issued a revised notification for apprentice recruitment 2026-27, cancelling the earlier notice issued on 1 October 2026. The revised notice was released on 21 October 2026.
Under the recruitment, a total of 2,008 apprentice posts will be filled. Eligible candidates can apply through the official website rrcjaipur.in.
The application process will begin afresh as per the revised notification. No new application deadline has been specified in the notice.
Indian Opinion Analysis
The cancellation and reissue of the notification resets the application timeline, affecting candidates who had already applied under the earlier notice. The railway has not stated a reason for withdrawing the original notification, leaving applicants uncertain about whether eligibility criteria or seat distribution have changed. The revised notice on the official website will be the only valid reference for fresh applications.
