PPU spot admission window open till Oct 22
The Story in Brief
Patliputra University (PPU) has opened a final window for spot admission to undergraduate, postgraduate, MEd, LLB and vocational courses against vacant seats for the current academic session. Registrar Abu Bakar said students can apply online till October 22. Applicants may select up to two colleges for spot admission.
The university will prepare a merit list based on the applications received for admission to constituent and affiliated colleges in Patna and Nalanda districts. Admissions depend on seat availability and eligibility criteria. PPU has urged students to complete the process before the deadline.
Separately, PPU has directed undergraduate students of the 2025-29 and 2024-28 batches to submit examination forms for Semester III and V by October 24. The fee is Rs 600 per student. Forms must be submitted on time to be eligible for the upcoming semester exams.
Indian Opinion Analysis
The notice gives students a narrow window to secure a seat that was otherwise filled in earlier rounds. Those who missed previous deadlines now have a final chance, but only for courses with vacancies. The separate examination form deadline of October 24 means students must track two different dates. Any delay on either front could mean losing the academic term.
