Pushpa 2 choreographer Srashti Varma joins BJP

Choreographer and Bigg Boss Telugu season 9 contestant Srashti Varma joined the Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday. She enrolled at the Telangana BJP state office in the presence of party state president Ramachander Rao, who welcomed her with a party scarf.

Srashti Varma, who rose to fame with the dance reality show Dhee, worked as an assistant to choreographer Johnny Master before becoming independent. She recently choreographed the hit song Sooseki from the film Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun. The song became a chartbuster and boosted her career.

Sources close to her said she joined the BJP because she liked the party's ideology. Several other prominent individuals also joined the party at the same event.
