Indian Opinion Analysis
The special trains offer a scheduled alternative for passengers on two routes during the October rush, but they remain limited to Sunday services on the Tirupati-Vijayapura route. With only four trips and 11 coaches, demand may still exceed supply on high-traffic days. The Tirupati-Secunderabad service runs a single trip each way, leaving gaps on other days and routes. The railways have not announced any additional services beyond October, so passengers face uncertainty after the 25th. The effectiveness of this arrangement will depend on how fully the coaches fill and whether the private bus operators or other transport modes adjust their own fares and frequencies in response.
