Four Antonello da Messina artworks worth $92 million stolen in Italy

Four paintings by Renaissance master Antonello da Messina, valued at $92 million, have been stolen from a museum in his Sicilian hometown. Livemint reports the heist occurred on August 17, 2026, and targeted works by one of Italy's most influential 15th-century painters.
