Shivraj, Digvijaya chat on flight sparks political buzz
A viral video shows former Madhya Pradesh chief ministers Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Digvijaya Singh in conversation aboard a Bhopal-Delhi flight, triggering speculation in political circles. The two veteran leaders, known rivals from the BJP and Congress respectively, were seen talking casually during the journey. No official details have emerged on what was discussed.
Indian Opinion Analysis
The encounter comes amid shifting political equations in Madhya Pradesh, where both leaders remain influential despite not holding the top post. Chouhan, a four-term BJP chief minister, was replaced by Mohan Yadav after the 2023 assembly polls. Digvijaya Singh, a two-term Congress chief minister and Rajya Sabha member, has been critical of the BJP government. The meeting could be a coincidence or signal a back-channel conversation, but neither party has confirmed any agenda. Watch for any joint appearances or statements in the coming days.
