SSB declares Constable GD Sports Quota result for 404 vacancies
The Story in Brief
The Sashastra Seema Bal has released the final result for Constable (General Duty) recruitment under the Sports Quota 2026. Candidates who appeared can check their selection status on the official website recruitment.ssb.gov.in.
The recruitment drive was for 404 vacancies across multiple sports disciplines for male and female candidates. The selection process included field trials, Physical Standard Test, document verification, and a Detailed Medical Examination.
The final result PDF contains roll numbers of shortlisted candidates and those whose results have been withheld. Candidates should check the document carefully and monitor the SSB recruitment website for further announcements.
Indian Opinion Analysis
The SSB has closed a recruitment cycle for 404 sports quota posts, but the result PDF withholds some candidates' status without giving a reason or next step. Those whose names appear as withheld have no clear remedy or timeline from the document itself. The only concrete instruction is to keep checking the recruitment website for future announcements, leaving thousands of applicants in limbo until the SSB issues a clarification or a supplementary list.
