Susan Egan wants Tom Holland, Zendaya for ‘Hercules’ live-action

Susan Egan, who voiced Megara in the 1997 animated film 'Hercules', has proposed Tom Holland and Zendaya for the lead roles in a possible live-action remake. She revealed her choice at the D23 Expo, telling Deadline: "I feel like the world needs it."

Egan praised Zendaya as "statuesque and amazing, with an incredible voice and a little edge." She added that her suggestion was not only because the 'Spider-Man' co-stars are the current "it couple" but also due to Zendaya's grounded career.

A live-action 'Hercules' was reportedly in development in 2020 with director Guy Ritchie attached, but little information has emerged since. No official casting or production timeline has been announced.
