TG-TET 2026 applications open for Telangana teachers
Online applications for the Telangana Special Teacher Eligibility Test, TG-TET 2026, opened on 7 October for eligible teachers working in the Telangana Education Department.
Candidates can apply until 16 October 2026. The examination is scheduled from 16 to 21 November 2026 for teachers seeking to take the special test, subject to the stated eligibility criteria.
Indian Opinion Analysis
The application window is limited to teachers already working in the Telangana Education Department, so the test is aimed at an in-service group rather than all prospective candidates. Applicants must complete the online process by 16 October 2026 and meet the eligibility criteria. The examination schedule gives eligible teachers about a month between the deadline and the test. The next fixed date is the examination period from 16 to 21 November 2026.
