TMKOC cast, Adivi Sesh join India Day at Empire State Building

The Empire State Building was lit in green, white and orange on August 15 for India's Independence Day. The Federation of Indian Associations organised the event with the theme 'Harmony in Heritage.' Cast members of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, including Asit Kumarr Modi, Dilip Joshi, Mandar Chandwadkar, and Sonalika Joshi, joined actor Adivi Sesh to flip the light switch.

After the ceremony, the group visited the 86th floor observation deck of the building, which Tripadvisor's 2026 Travelers' Choice Awards recently named the #1 attraction in the United States.
