Unverified Reddit list hints at Koffee With Karan 9 guests
An unverified guest list circulating on Reddit has sparked speculation about the lineup for Karan Johar's talk show Koffee With Karan Season 9, expected to return around Diwali 2026. According to English Mathrubhumi, the list includes potential pairings such as Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna as a married couple, Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani for their first television appearance after marriage, and a possible reunion of the Dil Chahta Hai trio comprising Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Farhan Akhtar and Akshaye Khanna to mark the film's 25th anniversary. NDTV reports the list also features Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, along with other Bollywood stars.
The list, which has not been confirmed by Karan Johar, Disney Star or the show's producers, includes several reunion themes and celebrity couples. Other speculated pairings include Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kajol and Jaya Bachchan for a Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham anniversary episode, Vicky Kaushal with Diljit Dosanjh, Akshay Kumar with Ajay Devgn, Varun Dhawan with Kriti Sanon, and comedian Samay Raina with filmmaker Farah Khan. English Mathrubhumi notes that the show is expected to air around Diwali, but no official details about guests have been announced.
Indian Opinion Analysis
Both outlets report the same unverified Reddit list as the basis for the story, making the coverage essentially uniform straight reporting. English Mathrubhumi provides more detail on anniversary tie-ins and backstory, while NDTV is briefer. Neither source adds independent confirmation or critical context about the list's reliability. The measured read is that this is purely fan speculation with no official confirmation, and the real news will only emerge when Karan Johar or the network announces actual guests closer to Diwali 2026.
