UP Board exam centre list on Oct 24, final on Nov 27
The Story in Brief
The Uttar Pradesh Board of High School and Intermediate Education will release the provisional list of examination centres for the 2027 exams on Saturday, October 24, two days later than originally planned. The final list, after objections are processed, is due on November 27.
UP Board secretary Bhagwati Singh said details of schools facing debarment or recognition-withdrawal proceedings will be posted on the District Inspector of Schools portal after the provisional list is out. Objections against centre selections can be submitted online at upmsp.edu.in from October 28 and will be examined by principals or school managers, with district-level committees forwarding justified recommendations to the Board.
The approved centre list with student allocation is scheduled to be uploaded on the Board website on November 16. Further objections, such as excessive distance or capacity issues, can be raised until November 21. The 2027 High School and Intermediate examinations will be held from February 5 to 23.
Indian Opinion Analysis
The October 24 release, a two-day delay from the original October 22 date, pushes the timeline for schools, students, and administrators to prepare. The staggered objection and approval process, extending until November 21, means final centre allocations remain uncertain for over a month after the provisional list. The Board has set November 27 as the date for the final centre list.
