UP Special TET 2026 city intimation slip released
The Story in Brief
Uttar Pradesh Shiksha Seva Chayan Aayog (UPESSC) has released the city intimation slip for the Special Teacher Eligibility Test (Special TET) 2026. Candidates can check the slip on the commission’s official website to know the city where their exam centre is located.
The Special TET will be held on 3 November 2026 in two shifts at centres across six divisional headquarters in the state. The admit cards will be available for download from 31 October 2026.
The city intimation slip only indicates the exam district or city. The full address of the exam centre will be printed on the admit card.
Indian Opinion Analysis
Over 48,000 candidates are estimated to appear for the exam. With the city slip out and admit cards due on 31 October, candidates now have a week to finalise travel and accommodation. The test is held only once a year, so missing the window means waiting another cycle. The commission has not yet said how many posts the exam will fill.
