Nancy Mace debuts 9 tattoos on new YouTube podcast

Outgoing US Congresswoman Nancy Mace has shown off nine tattoos on her arms while promoting her new YouTube talk show, 'Get Maced'. The 48-year-old South Carolina Republican went sleeveless for the debut episode, giving the public their first clear look at the ink she had kept largely hidden since getting it between late 2023 and early 2024.

Mace earlier told Politico that the tattoos came during a difficult period when she ended her engagement and saw her entire congressional staff resign. She described the process as a way to 'reclaim' her body and feel 'the pain that I need to feel'. One notable tattoo is the opening line from Virginia Woolf's novel Mrs. Dalloway.

Mace lost a Republican primary for South Carolina governor last August and gave up her House seat, which opens in January. She briefly considered running for the Senate seat left vacant by the death of Senator Lindsey Graham but ruled it out on July 20. Her relationship with President Trump soured after she backed the Epstein Files Transparency Act.
