Two separate family murders in UP: father kills daughter in Pilibhit and Ghaziabad

In two unrelated incidents in Uttar Pradesh, men killed family members after arguments. In Pilibhit, a 42-year-old man allegedly shot his 20-year-old daughter dead in Rampura Naugawan village on Friday. Police identified the accused as Ajay Pal Gangwar, who returned home intoxicated and argued with his daughter Anshika over an unspecified issue. He allegedly used an illegal firearm to shoot her in the head at point-blank range. He fled after the incident. Police are conducting raids and have registered a case based on a complaint from family members.

In a separate incident in Ghaziabad, police said Raja Ansari allegedly killed his wife Bibi Tabassum and 15-year-old daughter Sana Tabassum and injured his 14-year-old daughter Ruby in Popular Vihar. The attack occurred late at night, and police received information around 12:15 am. Ruby is being treated at MG Hospital and is out of danger. Ansari has been taken into custody and is being questioned. Police said the motive appears to be a domestic dispute and investigations are ongoing.
