ZSI invites applications for 3 consultant, project associate posts
The Story in Brief
The Zoological Survey of India (ZSI) has invited applications for three temporary posts on its project ‘Documentation of traditional knowledge in wildlife conservation’. The posts are Consultant A, Consultant B, Consultant C and Project Associate-II, with a tenure of 14 months or until project completion.
Remuneration ranges from ₹35,000 + HRA for the Project Associate-II to ₹1,00,000 consolidated per month for Consultant C. Candidates must hold a Master’s degree or equivalent, and retired government employees can apply for the consultant posts.
Applications must be emailed to [email protected] along with a mandatory Google Form by 30 October 2026. The posts are open to Indian citizens who are physically fit for travel to field sites across the country.
Indian Opinion Analysis
The three posts are project-based and temporary, offering no long-term employment security. Candidates with relevant postgraduate degrees and field experience will compete for a small pool of positions. The ZSI retains discretion to select fewer than the advertised three candidates. The application deadline of 30 October 2026 leaves a short window for applicants to prepare and submit documentation.
