40,000 watch largest military pipe band display in Mumbai

Over 40,000 people gathered in Mumbai for India's largest-ever Military Pipe Band display, organised to mark 80 years of Independence. The event featured 15 JAK LI and the Artillery Centre Band performing martial tunes and patriotic compositions.

Singers Gul Saxena, Anil Bajpai, Pranav Deherker and Sanjay Kumar added renditions of patriotic songs. The programme, curated by Colonel Vijay Kumar (Retd) and organised under the aegis of Hq Maharashtra Gujarat and Goa Area, culminated at the Gateway of India with a LED display and coordinated light formations.
