Ullas Chemban’s Disco gets co-producer, first look out, release set

Phars Film founder Ahmad Golchin has joined Ullas Chemban's Disco as co-producer, alongside Chemban Vinod Jose of Chembosky Motion Pictures. The film's first look was unveiled on August 17, featuring an ensemble cast that includes Antony Varghese Pepe, Arjun Ashokan, Lukman Avaran, Dev, Chemban Vinod Jose, Sreenath Bhasi, Vishnu Unnikrishnan, and Femina George. The makers have announced a release date of November 6.

The Iranian-born film entrepreneur Ahmad Golchin founded Dubai-based Phars Film in 1964 and has been a pioneer in film distribution in the Middle East. Phars Film is also the worldwide theatrical distributor of Disco. The film is written by Chemban Vinod Jose, reuniting him with Antony Varghese after Angamaly Diaries.

Disco is Ullas Chemban's second directorial venture after the 2024 action drama Anchakkallakokkan. It retains key collaborators from that film, including cinematographer Armo, editor Rohit VS Variyath, and composer Manikandan Ayyappa. Billed as a stylish mass actioner, the plot and genre details remain under wraps.
