Akanksha Chamola denies faking separation for show

Akanksha Chamola has rejected allegations that she faked her separation from husband Gaurav Khanna for publicity during her stint on Lock Upp. The actor, who announced the split on the reality show, has been accused of orchestrating the narrative for mileage.

I would never do something like this for PR, Akanksha told us. She said the show was about honesty and revealing secrets, not creating a narrative. She added that legal aspects are involved and she has chosen not to get into a cycle of proving herself.

Akanksha, who married Gaurav in 2016, said she has made peace with public scrutiny and has asked paparazzi not to discuss Gaurav. She said: I choose peace over explanation.
