Akanksha Chamola says Gaurav came to clear his name on Lock Upp

Lock Upp 2 contestant Akanksha Chamola has accused estranged husband Gaurav Khanna of entering the show to 'clear his name', not to support her. In an interview with Zoom, she said she had no information from him to feel he was supporting her game, and he came only to salvage his reputation. Earlier, she had said she would prefer her parents or dog visit over him.

Akanksha also hit back at online trolls she called 'selective' for criticising her remark about Gaurav but not her mention of parents and dog. She said if people want to morally police her, they should do it for everything. Gaurav entered the show after she revealed their divorce plans. The couple married in 2016 and have lived separately for almost a year but have not signed divorce papers.

Farah Khan, on her podcast, had praised Gaurav as a rare good husband and said he had accepted Akanksha for who she is. Akanksha later told Farah that Gaurav's entry affected her game because negative information from home shattered her confidence.
