Bandla Ganesh breaks down at daughter Janani’s wedding in Hyderabad

Bandla Ganesh's daughter Janani Bandla married Surya Teja Chilukuri on August 16 in Hyderabad in a star-studded Telugu wedding. The actor-filmmaker broke down during the appaginthalu (handing over) ceremony, holding his daughter's hand to his chest and refusing to let go. Hindustan Times reports Janani also held back tears.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy attended the wedding. Tollywood stars including Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Venkatesh, Naga Chaitanya, Sobhita Dhulipala, Brahmanandam and others were present. The Times of India says Pawan Kalyan also attended, Hindustan Times says he was absent due to shoulder surgery.

The couple got engaged in Hyderabad in May. The groom wore a soft pink pattu pancha and kurta, and the bride wore a gold Kanjeevaram silk saree with diamond jewellery. The decor featured a Lord Balaji idol and a temple-themed mandapam in pink and gold.
