BDU opens convocation application for 2025-26 graduates
The Story in Brief
Bharathidasan University (BDU) has notified the application procedure for its 41st convocation, scheduled for December 2026. Graduates who passed the November 2025 and April 2026 examinations, including those from the Centre for Distance and Online Education, must download forms from www.bdu.ac.in and submit them to their respective institutions with the fee.
Principals must forward completed forms to the Controller of Examinations by 20 November. Ph.D. candidates and first-rank holders from the April 2026 session must send their forms directly to the CoE, also by the same deadline.
Indian Opinion Analysis
The convocation date itself is not fixed, only a November or December window. That leaves students and institutions preparing ceremonies and travel with little certainty. Thousands of graduates from the November 2025 and April 2026 sessions must track the university's website for a single date to be announced. The November 20 deadline for application forms is the only concrete marker in the schedule. Processing that many forms across affiliated colleges and the examination office will test the university's administrative machinery before the event can proceed.
