CISF jawan suspended for taking woman’s photos in Delhi Metro

A CISF jawan has been suspended after a woman accused him of taking her photographs inside a Delhi Metro coach on Saturday evening. A video of the confrontation shows passengers demanding he delete the images. The jawan appeared to delete some pictures but refused to hand over his phone, according to Siasat.com.

Passengers alleged the jawan then brandished his service pistol to make his way through the crowd. However, NDTV reports that Metro Police have denied this claim. The incident caused panic among commuters. A departmental inquiry has been ordered, both outlets report.
