CISF personnel suspended for misconduct with woman in Delhi Metro

A Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) assistant sub-inspector, identified as A.K. Singh, has been suspended with immediate effect after being accused of photographing a woman without consent inside a Delhi Metro coach near AIIMS station on the Yellow Line, according to Hindustan Times. A video on social media showed passengers confronting the personnel after the woman made the allegation.

Deccan Chronicle reports that the CISF, in a post on X, stated it viewed the matter with utmost seriousness and ordered a detailed inquiry. Hindustan Times adds that the complainant later sent a WhatsApp message saying she did not wish to pursue the case, but the CISF has proceeded with departmental action.

The CISF statement said further action will be taken based on the inquiry's findings.
