CJP founder seeks transparency on govt school funding, facilities

Abhijeet Dipke, founder and convenor of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), has written an open letter to education ministers of all states demanding public disclosure of data on government school infrastructure, funding, teacher vacancies, digital facilities, and non-teaching duties assigned to teachers. Dipke posed six specific questions, including how many schools have been renovated in the last five years, how many teaching positions remain vacant, and how much allocated money has actually been spent.

Dipke said citizens have a right to know how tax money is being used to improve education. He described visuals from government schools circulating on social media as deeply concerning, saying children are being 'treated worse than animals'. He stressed the letter was not about politics but about the future of children. The CJP has been running a 'School Thik Karo' initiative and its spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka demanded arrests over alleged violence during a party visit to a school in Jaipur. The party's National Working Committee will meet on August 24 to decide next steps.
