Dana White denies secret military weather tech for UFC event

UFC president Dana White has rejected a conspiracy theory that the US government used secret military technology to clear stormy weather for UFC Freedom 250 in Washington, D.C. A powerful storm was forecast to hit the area before the event at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, but it suddenly changed direction, allowing the event to proceed without rain.

Reddit and social media users speculated that the government had used weather-modification technology to protect the event. White told TMZ that no such operation took place. He said military meteorologists had predicted the storm would hit, and the sudden change surprised everyone, including the president.

White said: 'I can promise you that did not happen. We thought it was hitting us. The president thought it was hitting us.' He also discussed upcoming UFC 330, including the welterweight title fight between Islam Makhachev and Ian Machado Garry in Philadelphia on August 15.
