Financier runs jeep over woman farm worker over unpaid loan

A financier, Bheemaiah, allegedly murdered a 43-year-old farm worker, Bangaramma, by running his jeep over her after she failed to repay a loan. Tadur SI Ramulu said the incident occurred at Bheemaiah's farmhouse in Kothacheruvu, Nagarkurnool district, on Saturday. Bangaramma had borrowed Rs 3,000 and repaid Rs 1,800. When intercepted on her way home, she pleaded for more time. The accused then pushed her to the ground, ran over her, and fled after ensuring she was dead.

The CLUES team collected evidence, and the body was sent for post-mortem before being handed over to her son Eashwariah for last rites on Sunday, Deccan Chronicle reports. A case has been registered, and special teams are searching for Bheemaiah.
