Gwalior man fined Rs 5,500 for car with 3,400 lipstick kisses

Gwalior resident Aditya Sikarwar was fined Rs 5,500 by traffic police after his car was covered with about 3,400 lipstick marks made by his girlfriend. The vehicle was driven on city roads for two days before a video of it went viral on social media.

Police traced the car using its number plate and found it in the Thatipur area. Traffic Police Inspector Abhishek Raghuvanshi said the car had been modified in violation of motor vehicle rules. Sikarwar was made to clean the marks off the vehicle in police presence.

Sikarwar told reporters his girlfriend spent about three and a half hours creating the marks as part of a 'foreign trend' and that he was unaware the decoration was illegal. He has since paid the fine and cleaned the car.
