Drunk couple kissed inside wrecked car after Bilaspur crash

Police in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, are investigating a viral video that shows a couple kissing inside a severely damaged car after a road accident. The incident occurred in the Sirgitti area during rainfall, and the occupants were allegedly under the influence of alcohol.

The speeding car mounted a footpath in front of a shop, causing extensive damage but no injuries to pedestrians. After the crash, the couple began kissing inside the vehicle, drawing the ire of local residents. When the occupants argued and tried to intimidate the crowd, locals pulled them out and assaulted them.

Bilaspur City ASP Pankaj Patel said neither party has filed a complaint and police were unaware of the incident until the video surfaced. The video is about three days old. Sirgitti police have been directed to verify the footage and take appropriate action.
