i, Nobody OTT release set for August 25 on JioHotstar

Prithviraj Sukumaran's Malayalam thriller i, Nobody will begin streaming on JioHotstar from August 25, the platform announced on Sunday. Directed by Nisam Basheer, the film stars Prithviraj as Rajeevan, a government employee who accidentally becomes witness to a bank robbery. It also features Parvathy Thiruvothu, Hakkim Shajahan, Ashokan, Vijayaraghavan, Nandhu and Madhupal.

The film, jointly produced by Prithviraj Productions and E4 Entertainment, released in theatres on July 9 and received mixed responses. Times Now reports that according to Sacnilk, i, Nobody recorded a worldwide gross of Rs 15.37 crore, with an India net of Rs 8.71 crore and overseas earnings of Rs 5.30 crore, performing way below expectations. Cinema Express, in its review, noted that the film 'takes off to soaring heights only to come crashing down by the end' but added that it is 'pregnant with potential even when the wheels start coming off'.

i, Nobody marks Nisam Basheer's reunion with writer Sameer Abdul after their acclaimed film Rorschach. The film's technical crew includes cinematographer Dinesh Purushothaman, music director Jakes Bejoy, editor Ramees MB, and action choreographers Yannick Ben, Kalai Kingson and Amith Jolly Bastin. The digital premiere will make the film available to viewers who missed its theatrical run.
