IFFCO opens online applications for 2026 trainee posts
The Story in Brief
Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) has started online applications for Trainee, Junior Steno and other posts. Eligible candidates, who hold a graduate diploma, B.Sc., BCA, Diploma, ITI or Class 10 certificate, can apply from 26 October until 10 November 2026. The monthly salary ranges from Rs 27,500 to Rs 64,000.
Posts include Trainee (Materials, Chemical, IT Services, Fireman), ATSST (Lab Assistant, Instrumentation, AO), Junior Steno, Welder and Rigger. Age limits vary from 18 to 35 years depending on the role, with relaxations for SC/ST and OBC candidates. Selection involves an online written test, interview, document verification and medical fitness.
Indian Opinion Analysis
The application window is short, just 15 days, so eligible candidates must move quickly. IFFCO is recruiting for multiple specialised roles across its units, but the notification does not specify the total number of posts for several positions, leaving applicants guessing about competition levels. The salary range of Rs 27,500 to 64,000 is competitive for trainees in the fertiliser sector, but the upper end likely requires prior experience mentioned in the eligibility criteria. Candidates should check which post they qualify for and keep documents ready before the 10 November deadline.
